obligation/aid,

are all giving, cultivated,

 called Dhana Perfection,

or generosity.

Generosity compared to,

as the big river,

flow all year round,

 nourish public,

and run down to the sea.

Old water leaves,

 new comes instead,

 from various big

and small streams.

Big river never dry,

generous person

  never poor,

as well.

Generosity, the virtue,

Dhana Perfection,

 sublime/great asset,

the owner is called

the real rich.

But, the greedy person,

of much money,

is called the real poor,

the much they have

the more they need.

Five Precepts observed,

 compared to,

 immense reservoir

with wide forest

and huge mountain.

The place of raining,

accepting/keeping water

and drains all year

to canals and rivers.

Five Precepts observed,

Sila Perfection collected,

the compassion virtue,

 the unimaginable treasure,

is integral for sharing;

as well as reservoir

is for river and canal.

Meditation

compared to,

the ocean in which salty water,

  seemed no use;

but it is the source of rain,

the cloud, so much important.

Meditation

is to brighten the mind,

to gain wisdom,

the source of fulfillment.

The ocean compared to

the unimaginable

Emperor Treasure

that never used up.

Giving/Dhana

forgiving/Five Precepts

forgetting/meditation,

the Middle Path,

is the path of giving

or treasure.

it is what we call charity.

How can we make

our money, property,

or belongings

become most beneficial?

When we spend

or use our money

or belongings as contribution

to many people in society

without thinking about

our own benefit or family,

we make our belongings

become more beneficial.

The more people gain

true peace and happiness

from our contribution,

the more we  gain

true peace and happiness.

Our love and kindness

will be expand

from only people

within the family to society.

Giving, forgiving, love,

and kindness

are strange things.

The more you

share them,

the more your heart

is warmed and expanded.

You will never

run out of them

by sharing.

Because,

the more we share,

the greater they become much,

like a chain reaction.

Charity is indispensable,

the second

of ten

of the Right Understanding.
