 OFFERING
(ALIKE DESERTED GRASS BUT SO GREAT)

Offering to monk is comparable to the grass
at the mouth of the stall.
Cows don't care at all, although very beautiful,
with a mind focused on the field, striving for.
Like people, they are not interested in offering.

The field of people cared for are livelihoods.
Making a living endlessly, no boredom,
eating and excreting, everyone alike.
Not knowing that life must be lived
not only that.
Life fulfilled as a dream if you realize offering.

Whatever you give, you will get it
with certainty, without any doubt.
Whatever you plant, you will get that.
Its normal.
Plant rice getting rice, plant bean getting bean,
plant sesame getting sesame.
Its the law of karma, law of ordinary, the nature.

The offering has many virtues, the Buddha said:
the person who  gives food
as if giving strength.
Giving clothe is known as giving caste or complexion.
Giving vehicle is known as giving happiness.

Giving lamp is called giving an eye.
Giving shelter is called giving everything.
The Dhamma teacher is known as giving way,
 the bright noble way.

Therefore, offerings are indispensable,
bringing perfect happiness.
Out of all suffering,
there is only happiness and fulfillment.
The family is cool, the relatives are cheerful.
People are unified, well- being and happiness.
