Kathin, the ceremony,

offering robe to a monk,

who own the old robe,
and could manage it.

The robe disciplined,
in Buddha time,
could be seeked out
pieces of cloth,
only along garbage pile.

And managed it:
sewing, cutting and dyeing,
which could not finish
by oneself.

The word, Kathin,
is wood frame,
 used to stretch cloth
in sewing.

Nowadays, 
robe offering ceremony
comes instead,
during period one month,
after rainy season ended.

Monk robe is unimaginable,
meaning to Buddha,
seeing robe as seeing Buddha,
the savior.

Buddha Power
is unimaginable,
one who disrespected,
would be like the one
who hates his eye ball.

Monk robe,
is the symbol of:
 purity, quality, magnificence,
exquisiteness, elegance, majesty,
respect, eminence.

Monk robe is sacred.
 Buddha power is
eternal to the person
who faith in.

Above all, monkhood is
the last life living
of human,
before entering Nirvana,
permanently.

Kathin ceremony,
once a year,
the great ceremony,
all monks and all devotees
manage.

There are two ceremonies
in Kathin ceremony:
Sangha sole ceremony
and offering robe ceremony.

Kathin ceremony,
robe managing ceremony
by Sangha,
is the special robe,
gaining great merit,
affecting our life unexpectedly.

เหมือนอเมริกา

เข่นฆ่า ล้างเผ่าพันธ์ุ

ระเบิดปรมาณูนั่น

คนตายกัน เป็นเบือ

ฉลาดแต่แฉลบ

เจ็บแสบนัก

รัก แต่พวกพ้อง

พี่น้อง ของตน

แบ่งข้าง แบ่งขั้ว

เอาดีใส่ตัว ไม่เขินไม่อาย
ใครจะเป็นจะตาย
ไม่มีสน

 เหตุวิปริตที่ยิ่งใหญ่

คือไม่ได้ รักษาศีล
ปล่อยปละ ละเลยเป็นอาจิน
ความดีหมดสิ้น เพราะศีลไม่มี

ไม่รักความสะอาด

ขาดระเบียบ เป็นหัวใจ

ดูได้ ไม่ใส่ใจ

หลังจากใช้ ห้องน้ำ

เลือกคนดี ดูที่

มีความสะอาด จัดระเบียบ

ดูให้เฉียบ

ดูถึงห้องน้ำ คำของยายฯ

 ไม่ทำความสะอาดให้ดี

อย่าริ บังอาจเอาไป
ยายฯ บอกไว้

จะเจ็บใจ ในภายหลัง

สุขใจ
เมื่อได้เอาใจใส่ ทำความสะอาด
ใจใส ความโกรธ ถูกขจัด
มีมารยาทพร้อม

คนพาลฉลาด
แต่ขาดปัญญา
ไม่รู้สึกรู้สา
มิจฉาทิฏฐิ

Self discipline,
the five Precepts,

the core of prosperity,
of which,
intoxicant prohibition, lead.

The intoxicant is
against consciousness
and wisdom, which is
the way of happiness and success.

 Five Precepts is,
the originating, the locating,
the welling,
of all goodness,
and of all virtues, presided.

Constructing
high building,
sturdy foundation is needed.
Great prosperity, as so,
the Five Precepts is necessary.

Rice cultivation
needs soil preparation.
pursuing virtues,as so,
 Five Precepts is required.

The real freedom,
is in boundary
of discipline,
otherwise, rioted.

Any ruled system
are good, only if,
self discipline observed,
and not against
the Five Precepts.

The Five Precepts,
is human virtue,
the virtue of human realm,
happiness and success.

Actually, self destroying is,
to behave against
the five Precepts,
unexpected to people.

คนก็คล้าย ปลา

ปลาเป็นขยันว่าย

ไม่แวะไป หลับนอน

บัณฑินสอน

ให้ขยัน ฝ่าฟัน ปัญหา

น้ำร้อน คือที่มีปัญหา

ไม่หนีหน้า หลบไป

ทุกข์ยากเพียงไร

อดทนสู้ตาย ไม่ย่อท้อ

ละชั่วทำดี ทำใจ

ให้ผ่องใส ละออ

ไม่ถอยไม่ท้อ

สู้ต่อ ถึงสุดธรรม

โลกนี้ ไม่ใช่ที่

หลับนอน เกียจคร้าน

อย่าคิดฟุ้งซ่าน

ร่านไป ในกามคุณ

ทุกขณะจิต

ให้คิด กักตุน

สะสมบุญ สร้างบารมี

มุ่งไปที่ พระนิพพาน

ปลาตาย

นอนหลับไหล ไม่รู้ร้อน

ไม่สะดุ้งภัยที่จร

นอนอยู่ได้

เหมือนฝูงสุนักป่า

ใกล้เข้ามา จะเอาตาย

แต่ปลาหลับไหล

นอนยิ้มได้ น่าคลั่งใจแท้

คนทั้งหลาย

ก็หลับไหล คล้ายๆปลา

เมามัวเหมือนบ้า

อยากรวย อยากสวย ทั้งนั้น

ไม่รู้สึกรู้สา

ผลาญเวลากัน 

ปลาตายทั้งนั้น

ไหลตามกัน ลงทะเล

อนึ่ง น้ำร้อนปลาเป็น

อาจเช่น วาจาคน

พูดจาสัปดน

ทำให้คนร้อน 

หรือพูดจาขวานผ่าซาก

คนสำรัก ขมขื่น

หรือเล่นลิ้นลื่น

ฟื้นฝอย หาตะเข็บ

และ น้ำเย็นปลาตาย

อาจพูดด้วยใจ เมตตา

เหมือนฝนตกลงมา

พาชื่นฉ่ำเย็น

มีความรู้สึกดี

มีใจ รักใคร่

เกิดศรัทธาเลื่อมใส

ตั้งใจ ฟังธรรม

และ คนพูดโผงผาง

แต่หวังดี ก็มีบ้าง

คนพูดดีจัง

แต่หวังร้ายก็มี

ปากปราศรัย

ใจเชือดคอ ระวังให้ดี

จงตั้งสติ อย่าเชื่อใจทาง

อย่าวางใจคน

 Demerit is as

the most atomic bomb chip,
self implanted,

the true disaster of life,

so hazardous unimaginably.

We have planted them,

diligently everyday

in our self, the mind,

ignorantly.

Carelessness,
 mind outsided body,
is the cause of 
evil deed, demerit.

Evil deed, the action,

conducted through,

thinking, speaking, and doing,
become the most atomic bomb,
the consequence.

The consequence followed,
is as foxes follow
a sheep, uncountable realms,
and times, reborn and died.

Tears of suffering
is so much,
more than
water of all oceans.

Nevertheless, go on,
unceasingly circle
along
life circuit.

With Buddha's wisdom
could see through times:
past, present, and future;
and realms.

The mind
is so powerful,
much much more than
any other power.

The evil mind
is more dangerous
than atomic bomb.
The good mind
is the most benefit,
the Perfection.

Being patient,
to come across problems,
to save good deed,
is so much worthy,
the way of wisdom.
